I’ll always love this voice.
I’m Chris. :)
I don’t talk a lot, unless we’re good friends. I’m gay and couldn’t be prouder of it. Just waiting for the rest of the world to follow suit. I think of random things out of nowhere sometimes, but I’m always afraid of saying them out loud out of fear of being seen as a complete idiot. I put on the bravest face to mask my darkest fears and insecurities. It’s reasons like that that I wonder if anyone will ever fully understand me. That just sounded kind of depressing, but I swear I’m a really happy person. I love to eat. I love my friends. I love to read. I love to listen to music that really makes you feel. I’m a really nice guy, but only if you’re the same in return. I study a lot, sometimes to the point where I overwhelm myself a bit. I like people that really get to know me. Sarcasm is a hard language for me to master. I’m not very good at joking around, contrary to how I might present myself. I either come off as sounding really nice or really mean, and I always end up feeling like the worst person in the world when I even suspect that I’ve hurt someone else’s feelings. So I tend to just keep the sarcasm to myself and stay nice. That’s all I can think of for now, but I’ll randomly post more stuff about me in the future. Just snippets here and there so I don’t completely bore you to tears. Hope I’m interesting enough for you to follow :)
Writing this feels really good, a release I’ve never felt before. Like you’re telling something to someone who does nothing but listen without judgment. And I can just say what I feel without worrying that I might be ridiculed or thought absolutely crazy. The perfect guy in a nutshell, along with a few other things. But I suppose that’s for a future post?
“It was right then that I started thinking about Thomas Jefferson on the
Declaration of Independence and the part about our right to life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness. And I remember thinking how did he know to
put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we
can only pursue and maybe we can actually never have it.”
